Every perfect game or no-hitter has that one, monumental, game saving play. Matt Cain may have pitched the "most perfect" perfect game last night, and his accomplishment certainly had that special moment, game saving play courtesy of Gregor Blanco.
In 2009, then White Sox pitcher Mark Buerhle also was perfect. Defensive replacement, DeWayne Wise robbed a home run to save it.
